An 80-year-old man lost his life in a tragic accident in Wainadoi, Navua, following a collision between two vehicles. The crash happened when both drivers attempted to overtake at the same time, resulting in their vehicles veering off the road and ending up in a ditch.
Despite prompt transport to Navua Hospital, the elderly man, who hailed from Suva, was pronounced dead. The other driver involved in the incident has sustained injuries but is reported to be in stable condition.
