A tragic motor vehicle accident in Nasinu this morning has resulted in the death of a man in his 30s. According to Senior Superintendent of Police Mitieli Divuana, the incident took place after 3am near the Nasinu road junction. The victim, who was driving towards Suva, collided with another vehicle driven by a man of the same age, who was heading in the opposite direction.
Emergency services rushed the victim to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Investigations into the circumstances of the accident are ongoing.
