A 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman are facing manslaughter charges due to a failure to fulfill their parental responsibilities. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has accused them of neglecting to seek medical care for their 1.5-year-old daughter, which led to her death.

In a separate case, a 25-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his 59-year-old grandmother. Reports indicate that he allegedly attacked her with a cane knife, resulting in her fatal injuries.
