Tragic Car Crash Claims Woman’s Life in Lautoka

A serious motor vehicle accident in Lautoka this morning resulted in the death of a woman. SSP Mitieli Divuana, the Director of Traffic, reported that the victim was driving on M.N. Naidu Road when she lost control of her vehicle, leading it to veer off the road and collide with a tree. The incident took place shortly after 8 a.m. According to SSP Divuana, the woman was transported to Lautoka Hospital, but unfortunately, she did not survive her injuries. A post-mortem examination is set to be carried out to ascertain the specific cause of death, and investigations into the crash are currently underway.
