Tragic Blaze: Man Dies While Battling Cane Fire

A 69-year-old man from Navoli died in Ba after suffering severe burns while attempting to extinguish a cane fire. Rang Nadan Naicker was injured on September 3, according to his brother, Gopal Naicker. Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro reported that Mr. Naicker sustained burns while trying to control the fire with a tractor. He was later hospitalized at the Ba Aspen Hospital’s Burns Ward, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
