Tragic Blaze: Local Man Dies While Battling Cane Fire

A 69-year-old man from Navoli, Rang Nadan Naicker, died in Ba after suffering severe injuries while attempting to extinguish a cane fire. According to his brother, Gopal Naicker, the incident occurred on September 3. Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro stated that Mr. Naicker received burns while trying to douse the flames with a tractor. He was later admitted to the Ba Aspen Hospital’s Burns Ward but unfortunately passed away.
