A woman has died following a motor vehicle accident in Lautoka this morning. According to the Director of Traffic for the Fiji Police Force, SSP Mitieli Divuana, the incident occurred around 8 a.m. when the woman was driving on M.N Naidu road. She reportedly lost control of her vehicle, which then veered off the road and crashed into a tree.
The victim was taken to Lautoka Hospital for treatment, where she was later pronounced dead. SSP Divuana mentioned that a postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
