Tragic Accident Claims Life of Woman in Lautoka

A fatal motor vehicle accident in Lautoka this morning has resulted in the death of a woman. According to SSP Mitieli Divuana, the Director of Traffic, the victim was driving on M.N. Naidu Road when she lost control of her vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and collide with a tree. The incident occurred shortly after 8 a.m. Emergency services rushed her to Lautoka Hospital; however, she unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. SSP Divuana noted that a post-mortem examination will be carried out to establish the exact cause of death. Investigations into the accident are currently underway.
