Tragic Accident Claims Life of Night Shift Worker

A man in his 50s has tragically died following a car accident after finishing a night shift. Reports indicate that he lost control of his vehicle, which then veered off the road and collided with a post. The incident took place in Davuilevu, Nausori, this morning. According to Director Traffic, SSP Mitieli Divuana, officials from the National Fire Authority and the Police responded to the scene and transported the victim for medical care, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival. SSP Divuana mentioned that a post-mortem examination will be conducted soon. The current national road death toll stands at 40, a decrease from 63 during the same period last year.
