A man is believed to be the latest road fatality in the country following an accident in Nasinu yesterday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mitieli Divuana, the victim reportedly stepped onto the road at Laqere Bridge in the afternoon and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man. The victim was taken to Valelevu Health Centre but was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival. SSP Divuana confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and the driver will be questioned after the post-mortem examination is completed.
