A woman has lost her life following a car accident in Lautoka yesterday. According to Police Director Traffic SSP Mitieli Divuana, the woman was driving on MN Naidu Rd after 8 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle. This caused her car to leave the roadway and crash into a tree.
Emergency services transported her to Lautoka Hospital, where she was admitted but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries shortly after. SSP Divuana indicated that a postmortem examination will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
