A woman died following a car accident in Lautoka this morning.
According to SSP Mitieli Divuana, the Director of Traffic for the Fiji Police Force, the incident occurred after 8 a.m. when the victim lost control of her vehicle while driving on M.N Naidu Road. The car veered off the road and collided with a tree.
She was transported to Lautoka Hospital for treatment but unfortunately passed away later. SSP Divuana noted that a postmortem examination will be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
