The partner of a 45-year-old man who tragically lost his life due to an accident on the Laqere Bridge in Nasinu last Sunday described him as a kind individual. Shelly Singh recounted that she was speaking with Bisun Lal when she suddenly heard a loud noise followed by silence on the call. She attempted to call him back, but it rang unanswered. According to police reports, Mr. Lal allegedly crossed the road abruptly at the Laqere Bridge and was struck by a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man. Mitieli Divuana, the Director of Traffic and Senior Superintendent of Police, indicated that investigations are ongoing, and the driver will be questioned following the post-mortem examination.
