A tragic incident in Nabua has taken a heartbreaking turn as the man suspected of causing the death of a 14-year-old student in a recent motor vehicle accident has died while in police custody. The 54-year-old suspect, who had been brought to the Nabua Police Station for questioning, reportedly began to feel unwell and was immediately transported to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, where he was admitted. Unfortunately, he passed away early the following morning.
Authorities have stated that a post-mortem examination will be conducted to establish the cause of death. The suspect was under investigation in connection with the tragic accident that occurred when he allegedly lost control of his vehicle and struck the young boy as he waited to cross the street at a traffic light.
