A woman died after being involved in a car accident in Lautoka this morning. According to SSP Mitieli Divuana, the Director of Traffic for the Fiji Police Force, the woman was driving on M.N Naidu Road shortly after 8 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle. This caused her car to veer off the road and collide with a tree.
She was taken to Lautoka Hospital where she was admitted but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. A postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the official cause of death, as stated by SSP Divuana.
