A 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman are facing manslaughter charges due to a failure to fulfill their duty as parents. The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions alleges that the couple neglected to seek medical attention for their sick 1-year-and-6-month-old daughter, leading to her death.

In a separate case, a 25-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his 59-year-old grandmother. According to authorities, he allegedly killed her by striking her with a cane knife.
