A man is believed to be the latest victim of a road fatality following an accident in Nasinu yesterday. Senior Superintendent of Police Mitieli Divuana, the Director of Traffic, reported that the man, who was in his 40s, allegedly crossed the road suddenly at the Laqere Bridge in the afternoon, resulting in a collision with a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old man. The victim was quickly taken to the Valelevu Health Centre, where he was sadly pronounced dead upon arrival. SSP Divuana mentioned that investigations are ongoing and the driver will be interviewed after the post-mortem examination is completed.
