A 25-year-old man is in police custody following the tragic death of a companion at a popular night spot in Lautoka City due to alleged breathing complications. The police were notified by the suspect at around 4 AM at the Shirley Park Police Post when the individual began experiencing severe breathing difficulties. Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at Lautoka Aspen Medical Hospital.
Authorities have indicated that a postmortem examination will be performed to ascertain the exact cause of death.
