Lautoka Stars will be without their emerging talent Vani Ratudradra as they prepare to face Suva Swifts IGA in the FinanceHub Super League final this Saturday. Ratudradra, who was part of the National Netball Academy, passed away last Saturday after a road accident in Lautoka on September 29.

Suva Swifts IGA finished the seventh round in first place with 21 points and an impressive goal difference of 194%, while Lautoka Stars secured second place with 15 points and a goal difference of 126%. The Baby Pearls team, Kacau, ranked third, and Nasinu Tactix is in fourth position. These two teams will compete for the third-place playoff during the finals.

In other matchups, Nadroga Stallions will take on Baby Pearls Kikau for the fifth-place playoff, while Nadi will go against Tailevu Doves for the seventh-place playoff.

Vivian Koster, the chief executive officer of Netball Fiji, expressed satisfaction with the league’s progression, stating, “It has been a long but good league season where we have unearthed new talent and seen the continued growth of athletes. Netball Fiji is always appreciative of the partnership with FinanceHub that has allowed our athletes to compete and put their case forward for selection into our national teams.”

The final match will take place at the Fiji National University (FNU) Gymnasium in Nasinu.
