Organizers of the Namaka Volleyball and Rugby 7s Tournaments have provided important updates regarding registration deadlines and event details. Biu Tadranu, the tournament organizer, has announced that the registration for the Namaka Rugby 7s Tournament has been extended until next Friday.
Scheduled for January 24-25 at the Namaka Public School grounds, the tournament will feature 24 men’s teams and 8 women’s teams. The prize money for the men’s champions is set at $5000, while the women’s winners will receive $2500. Registration fees are $500 for men’s teams and $400 for women’s teams. Tadranu emphasized that the Namaka Rugby 7s Tournament intends to create a robust platform for grassroots rugby development, providing opportunities for emerging talent to showcase their skills.
Additionally, registration for the Namaka Volleyball Tournament is set to close tomorrow. This tournament will take place earlier, running from January 17-18, also at the Namaka Public School.
