Former Queen Victoria School Head Boy Tomasi Seru Junior is set to make his debut for Stade Rochelais after being included in the squad for the upcoming match against Bayonne in round 6 of the French Top 14.
The 20-year-old, who previously played for the Kaiviti Silktails and joined the club last year, has showcased his skills in the team’s 7s program. Now, he has received the opportunity to start from the bench in La Rochelle’s third away game of the season.
Representing his village of Ketei on Totoya Island, Seru Junior will wear jersey number 22 and is expected to provide cover at outside centre and on the wing.
The match between La Rochelle and Bayonne is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 AM tomorrow.
