Good day everyone.

Here’s your essential information you may find useful today.

Starting with the weather:

A trough of low pressure is bringing clouds and rain to several regions and is expected to spread throughout the country later today. Currently, a northeast to southerly wind pattern is affecting Fiji. Residents can expect occasional heavy rain and possible isolated thunderstorms, particularly in the Yasawa and Mamanuca groups, Viti Levu, Kadavu, surrounding smaller islands, and the Southern Lau group. Cloudy spells with some showers are likely in southern Bua, eastern Macuata, and Cakaudrove provinces, as well as the Lomaiviti and Central and Northern Lau groups. Other areas will see cloudy periods with isolated showers in the afternoon or evening. Rain is predicted to increase in intensity later in the day, with isolated thunderstorms and heavy rainfall occurring. Localized heavy rainfall could result in flash flooding in low-lying areas. Tonight, rain is expected to ease from the west, and the country will clear by tomorrow. Winds will be moderate, predominantly shifting to southerly tomorrow, accompanied by moderate seas. The nights will be cooler over Viti Levu and the southern regions, extending to the rest of the country from tomorrow.
