The iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) is set to enhance its financial management capabilities with the introduction of the new Microsoft Business Central Financial System. This new system is an upgrade from the Microsoft Navision Dynamics, which TLTB adopted in 2018. The launch of this $114,000 system, developed by DXC Technology, is a critical step in TLTB’s effort to modernize and improve its financial operations.
The upgraded system is anticipated to enhance process efficiency and provide seamless integration with other Microsoft products, such as Office 365 and Power BI. This will enable TLTB staff to work more effectively and securely across all departments.
Solomoni Nata, the chief executive officer of TLTB, emphasized that the launch reflects the board’s dedication to innovation and operational excellence. He stated, “We expect this system to significantly improve our process efficiency and strengthen our financial management capabilities.” He added that the upgrade is a vital part of TLTB’s digital transformation journey, equipping them with a state-of-the-art platform to enhance daily operations and improve service to stakeholders in the long term.
The initiative was officially launched last Thursday by Ifereimi Vasu, the chairman of the board of trustees and Minister for iTaukei Affairs, during the board’s latest meeting.
