The iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) is enhancing its financial management capabilities with the introduction of the Microsoft Business Central Financial System, an upgrade from its previous Microsoft Navision Dynamics system implemented in 2018. This initiative is viewed as a major step towards modernizing and improving the board’s financial operations.
The $114,000 system, developed by DXC Technology, aims to boost process efficiency and provide seamless integration with other Microsoft products, including Office 365 and Power BI. This will enable TLTB employees to work more effectively and securely across various departments.
Solomoni Nata, the CEO of TLTB, remarked that the launch of this upgraded financial system reflects the board’s ongoing dedication to innovation and operational excellence. He stated, “We expect this system to significantly improve our process efficiency and strengthen our financial management capabilities.”
Nata highlighted that this upgrade is a critical component of TLTB’s digital transformation journey, granting access to a modern platform that will enhance daily operations and improve services for stakeholders in the long term.
The new system was officially launched last Thursday by Ifereimi Vasu, the chairman of the board of trustees and Minister for iTaukei Affairs, during a recent board meeting.
