The iTaukei Land Trust Board (TLTB) has introduced a new Microsoft Business Central Financial System as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance financial management capabilities. This upgrade follows the implementation of Microsoft Navision Dynamics system in 2018 and represents a significant step in TLTB’s commitment to modernizing its financial operations.
The new system, which costs $114,000 and is provided by DXC Technology, aims to boost process efficiency and ensure seamless integration with other Microsoft products like Office 365 and Power BI. This will enable TLTB staff to work more effectively and securely across various departments.
TLTB’s Chief Executive Officer, Solomoni Nata, expressed that the launch of the upgraded system reflects the board’s dedication to innovation and operational excellence. He anticipates that the new system will greatly enhance process efficiency and strengthen financial management capabilities.
“This upgrade marks a key step in TLTB’s digital transformation journey, providing us with a state-of-the-art platform that not only enhances our day-to-day operations but also positions us to better serve our stakeholders in the long term,” Nata said.
The initiative was officially launched last Thursday by Ifereimi Vasu, chairman of the board of trustees and Minister for iTaukei Affairs, during the board’s recent meeting.
