Fiji heavyweight boxing champion James ‘The Beast’ Singh is poised to defend his title against Semi Dauloloma at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Saturday, August 31. Singh expressed confidence in his preparation, stating that he is ready to take on the challenge in the ring.
Dauloloma, who previously defeated Singh in June to capture the Leweni Waqa Memorial belt, is hopeful of replicating that success. The upcoming match will be decisive, as both fighters have each achieved a win against one another.
Promoter Samir Khan from Bluewater Boxing Promotions is set to support the winner in enhancing their world rankings by arranging matches against top international boxers.
The main event will feature local boxer Junior Binnu Singh facing Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF Australasian featherweight title. Mudaliar has confirmed that he has successfully met the 57-kilogram weight limit and plans to maintain this weight until the fight.
Additional fights on the card include veteran Savenaca Naliva competing against Sikeli Senidoko in a cruiserweight matchup, while Ronald Naidu will take on Rakuro Dauvavana.
