Fiji heavyweight boxing champion James ‘The Beast’ Singh is poised to defend his title against Semi Dauloloma at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, on Saturday, August 31. Singh expressed confidence in his preparation, stating that he has put in the necessary work to enter the ring ready to defend his championship.

Dauloloma, however, is eager to replicate his success from June, when he defeated Singh in the second round to win the Leweni Waqa Memorial belt. Both fighters have a win against each other, making this matchup a decisive one.

Promoter Samir Khan from Bluewater Boxing Promotions is prepared to support the victor in enhancing their global rankings by facilitating matches with top international boxers.

The main event features local fighter Junior Binnu Singh facing Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF (World Boxing Foundation) Australasian featherweight title. Mudaliar confirmed earlier this week that he has successfully made the 57-kilogram weight limit and intends to maintain this weight until the fight.

Additional bouts on the card include veteran Savenaca Naliva against Sikeli Senidoko in a cruiserweight bout, and Ronald Naidu competing against Rakuro Dauvavana.
