Fiji’s heavyweight boxing champion James ‘The Beast’ Singh is gearing up to defend his title against Semi Dauloloma at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Saturday, August 31. Singh expressed confidence in his preparation and readiness to take on the challenge, as reported by the Fiji Sports Council (FSC) Media.

Dauloloma, on the other hand, aims to replicate his success from June when he defeated Singh in the second round to secure the Leweni Waqa Memorial belt. The upcoming match is significant as both fighters have won one bout against each other, making this clash a decisive one.

Promoter Samir Khan of Bluewater Boxing Promotions is prepared to support the winner in enhancing their world rankings by facilitating matches with top international boxers.

The main event will feature local fighter Junior Binnu Singh competing against Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF Australasian featherweight title. Mudaliar shared in an interview that he has successfully reached the 57-kilogram weight limit and plans to maintain this weight until the fight.

Additional matchups include veteran Savenaca Naliva facing Sikeli Senidoko in a cruiserweight bout, while Ronald Naidu takes on Rakuro Dauvavana.
