Fiji’s heavyweight boxing champion James ‘The Beast’ Singh is set to defend his title against Semi Dauloloma at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Saturday, August 31. Singh expressed his confidence, stating he has prepared thoroughly and is ready for the bout.
Dauloloma, on the other hand, aims to replicate his victory from June, when he defeated Singh in the second round to capture the Leweni Waqa Memorial belt. With each boxer holding one victory over the other, this match will determine the overall winner.
Samir Khan, promoter for Bluewater Boxing Promotions, is eager to support the winner in enhancing their world rankings by facilitating matches with top international fighters.
The main event features local star Junior Binnu Singh competing against Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF Australasian featherweight title. Mudaliar confirmed earlier this week that he has made the 57-kilogram weight limit and plans to maintain it through to fight day.
