Excitement is on the rise as the Bluewater Boxing Promotion’s WBF Australasian title fight between Junior Binnu Singh and Krishnil Mudalliar is scheduled for today at Lawaqa Park.
The matchup has captured attention, with both fighters expressing strong sentiments leading up to the event. Singh, hailing from Nadroga, showcased his confidence and readiness ahead of the title bout.
“I feel good about this fight and I’ve prepared well,” he stated. “I’ve been training intensively, running up the sand dunes and honing my skills. I will come hard today.”
At just 24 years old, Singh recognizes Mudalliar as a formidable opponent. “I know Mudalliar is a tough guy. This is a title fight, and I don’t want to miss the chance to claim the title.”
He also called on his supporters to attend in full force. “I want my fans from Nadroga to come and support me because it will boost my performance.”
On the other hand, 34-year-old Krishnil Mudalliar remains focused and driven. He weighed in on the excitement surrounding the fight, stating, “There are many people talking about this bout, but we will let our performance in the ring do the talking.”
