Fiji’s heavyweight boxing champion James ‘The Beast’ Singh is set to defend his title against Semi Dauloloma at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Saturday, August 31. Singh expressed confidence, stating he has prepared diligently for this match and is ready to enter the ring to protect his championship.
On the other hand, Dauloloma aims to replicate his victory from June, where he defeated Singh in the second round to win the Leweni Waqa Memorial belt. With both fighters having one win each against the other, this upcoming bout will determine the overall victor.
Promoter Samir Khan from Bluewater Boxing Promotions is eager to support the winner in enhancing their world rankings by arranging matches with top international boxers.
The event will feature Junior Binnu Singh competing against Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF (World Boxing Foundation) Australasian featherweight title. Mudaliar confirmed earlier this week that he has successfully met the 57-kilogram weight limit and intends to maintain it until the fight day.
