Fiji’s heavyweight boxing champion, James ‘The Beast’ Singh, is poised to defend his title against Semi Dauloloma at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Saturday, August 31. Singh expressed his confidence and readiness to enter the ring after extensive preparation.
Dauloloma, on the other hand, is looking to replicate his June victory, where he defeated Singh in the second round to secure the Leweni Waqa Memorial belt. With both boxers having one win against each other, this bout will determine the overall champion.
Samir Khan, promoter of Bluewater Boxing Promotions, is eager to support the winner in enhancing their world rankings by facilitating matches with top international fighters. The event will also feature Junior Binnu Singh facing Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF (World Boxing Foundation) Australasian featherweight title. Mudaliar confirmed earlier this week that he has successfully made the 57 kilogram weight limit and plans to maintain it until the fight.
Other notable matches include veteran Savenaca Naliva competing against Sikeli Senidoko in a cruiserweight bout, and Ronald Naidu squaring off against Rakuro Dauvavana.
