Fiji’s heavyweight boxing champion, James ‘The Beast’ Singh, is poised to defend his title against Semi Dauloloma at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Saturday, August 31. Singh expressed confidence in his preparation, stating he has put in the necessary effort to be ready for the ring.
Dauloloma, on the other hand, aims to replicate his June performance when he defeated Singh in the second round to win the Leweni Waqa Memorial belt. With both fighters having secured one win each in their previous encounters, this matchup will determine the ultimate victor.
Promoter Samir Khan of Bluewater Boxing Promotions is keen to support the winner in enhancing their world rankings by organizing bouts against top international boxers.
The main event of the evening will feature Junior Binnu Singh facing Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF (World Boxing Foundation) Australasian featherweight title. Mudaliar reported earlier this week that he has successfully met the 57-kilogram weight limit and plans to maintain this weight until fight day.
