The race for the Digicel Fiji Premier League title is intensifying as Extra Supermarket Rewa solidifies their lead with a commanding 3-0 victory over Nadroga last night.
Rewa now holds a comfortable lead at the top of the standings with 34 points. Following them is Extra Supermarket Labasa in second place with 29 points, while Flick Hygiene Lautoka is closely behind in third with 28 points after their 4-2 win against Ba earlier this week.
This weekend promises an exhilarating series of matches at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori. The event kicks off with Navua facing Tailevu Naitasiri at 11am, followed by Suva taking on Nadroga at 1pm. The highlight match features league leaders Rewa squaring off against third-placed Lautoka at 3pm.
Additionally, Extra Supermarket Labasa FC will host Nasinu FC on Saturday at Subrail Park in Labasa at 1.30pm, while Rooster Chicken Ba FC will compete against Nadi FC on Sunday at 3pm at the Fiji FA Academy Ground in Ba.
