Title: “Heavyweight Clash: Will ‘The Beast’ Retain His Title?”

Fiji’s heavyweight boxing champion, James ‘The Beast’ Singh, is set to defend his title against Semi Dauloloma at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka on Saturday, August 31. Singh expressed confidence in his preparations, stating that he has put in the necessary training and is ready to enter the ring.

On the other hand, Dauloloma aims to replicate his victory from June, when he defeated Singh in the second round to secure the Leweni Waqa Memorial belt. With both fighters having one win each over the other, this upcoming bout will determine the ultimate champion.

Promoter Samir Khan of Bluewater Boxing Promotions is poised to support the winner in improving their world rankings by facilitating matches against top international boxers.

The main event will feature Junior Binnu Singh facing off against Krishnil Mudaliar for the WBF Australasian featherweight title. Mudaliar confirmed earlier this week that he has made the 57-kilogram weight limit and plans to maintain it until fight day.

Other notable matches include veteran Savenaca Naliva competing against Sikeli Senidoko in a cruiserweight showdown, and Ronald Naidu battling Rakuro Dauvavana.
