Winston Hill, the IBO Asia Pacific super welterweight champion, is set to battle Australia’s Lachlan O’Shea in the main event tonight at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park. Hill successfully weighed in at 68.45 kilograms, while O’Shea tipped the scales at 69.8kg during yesterday’s official weigh-in.

In addition to his own fight, Hill is looking forward to celebrating with his brother, Jonathan Hill, who will be competing against Siliveni Nawai for the Fiji super middleweight title on the undercard. “We are ready to dominate our fights as we have spent a long time training together in camp,” Hill expressed. He eagerly anticipates the fight night, highlighting the significant titles at stake and the excitement expected with notable figures, including ring announcer Sonny Bill Williams, present. “It’s special fighting alongside my brother as he aims for a national title,” he added.

Sebastian “The Sniper” Singh is also confident as he prepares to challenge Australia’s knockout artist, ‘King’ Tonga Tongotongo, for the IBO Asia Pacific cruiserweight title. Singh weighed in at 89.75kg, while his opponent came in at 87.55kg. “I’m excited about the hard work we have put in,” said Singh, who also holds the World Boxing Foundation Asia Pacific cruiserweight title. He mentioned that he and his team are in good health and full of adrenaline, ready to get the job done. While he refrained from making any specific predictions, Singh noted that he is prepared for whatever the outcome may be.

In the super middleweight division, titleholder Siliveni Nawai weighed in at 75.5kg, slightly heavier than Jonathan Hill, who measured 74.8kg. “I have prepared for this fight, and I’ll be ready for whatever Hill brings to the ring,” Nawai, known as the Hands of Stone, stated.
