TISA Insurance (Fiji) Ltd, previously known as Capital Insurance Ltd, has partnered with Leadership Fiji to enhance leadership development in the nation. The collaboration was officially announced last week, marking a significant milestone for both organizations. Leadership Fiji CEO Sharyne Fong expressed enthusiasm for TISA Insurance’s involvement during the organization’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
As part of the anniversary, Leadership Fiji is hosting a “Leaders Lounge series,” and TISA Insurance is among the corporate sponsors supporting this initiative. Fong emphasized that this partnership showcases a shared commitment to fostering leadership and developing robust institutions in Fiji. She stated, “Partnerships like this enable us to continue creating spaces where leaders can connect, reflect and grow.”
David Ariff Chan, CEO of TISA Insurance, acknowledged Leadership Fiji’s critical role over the past quarter-century in nurturing principled leaders who contribute positively to communities, institutions, and businesses in Fiji. “At TISA Insurance, we believe that strong leadership is fundamental to building a more resilient, inclusive, and future-ready Fiji,” he remarked. He further highlighted the company’s dedication to the ongoing transition from Capital Insurance to TISA Insurance, underscoring the importance of values and courageous leadership in driving real progress.
The partnership aims to support the Leaders Lounge series as a venue for meaningful discussions, learning opportunities, and collaboration, while also contributing to Leadership Fiji’s core programs that cultivate influential and service-oriented leaders across the country. “This partnership reflects our long-term commitment to investing in leadership capability, strong institutions, and nation-building for the future of Fiji,” Chan stated.
Fong has encouraged the Leadership Fiji alumni, partners, and networks to engage throughout the year in celebrating 25 years of impactful leadership and to help lay a strong foundation for upcoming generations of leaders. The 25th Anniversary Leaders Lounge series is scheduled to occur on the second Tuesday of each month from February to October at The Greenhouse Co-Working space, designed to foster connections and community among alumni and partners.
