Bola Tafou, a prominent coach in Athletics Fiji, is calling on athletes to intensify their preparations as they aim to compete in the upcoming Pacific Mini Games slated for next year. Known for training elite competitors, including the celebrated Pacific Sprint King Banuve Tabakaucoro, Tafou stressed the importance of starting serious training right away, especially since sufficient preparation takes over a year to yield successful results.

Tafou pointed out that athletes need to take immediate action to enhance their performance based on their experiences from the 2023 Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands. He is currently working with young talent through an Athletics Camp that continues until January, providing them a valuable opportunity to refine their skills and elevate their competitive edge.

The coach reassured that all available coaches are prepared to lend their expertise to any athlete ready to dedicate themselves to rigorous preparation. The Pacific Mini Games will take place in Koror, Palau, from June 29 to July 9, 2025, representing a significant opportunity for athletes to showcase their growth and hard work.

This call to action not only encourages athletes to prioritize their fitness and commitment but also highlights the supportive network of coaches ready to guide them. With determination and focused training, athletes can aspire to achieve greater heights in their sporting careers.

The optimism surrounding the upcoming games serves as a motivating reminder of the potential rewards of hard work, dedication, and teamwork within the realm of athletics.
