SEIKO launched its eagerly awaited “Ichigo Ichie” collection at Prouds in Suva this past Wednesday, marking 40 years of collaboration.
The event showcased SEIKO’s dedication to merging advanced technology with timeless designs, featuring watches that reflect precision, innovation, and sophistication. Established in 1881, SEIKO has made significant advancements in the watch industry, including the introduction of the first quartz watch and recent innovations in GPS solar technology. Brett Neil, the sales manager for Oceania at SEIKO Australia, emphasized the importance of the occasion.
“We highlight not just our history with Prouds, but also the debut of our new collections, including a unique collaboration with Lark, an Australian whiskey maker,” he stated while presenting the new Seiko and Lark Presage.
He encouraged attendees to check out the fresh offerings, which include the latest Astron and Presage collections, in addition to the Seiko 5 Sports line.
Rashmi Singh, general manager of Prouds, acknowledged the steadfast support that has played a crucial role in bringing the event to life.
“Together, we celebrate a journey defined by innovation and quality,” she remarked.
The watch collection is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide, paying homage to the Japanese philosophy of ‘Ichigo Ichie’, which translates to ‘for this time only’.
