SEIKO introduced its highly anticipated “Ichigo Ichie” collection at Prouds in Suva on Wednesday, commemorating four decades of collaboration.
The event showcased SEIKO’s dedication to merging advanced technology with timeless designs, featuring watches that reflect precision, innovation, and sophistication. As a trailblazer in the watchmaking industry since its establishment in 1881, SEIKO is known for remarkable milestones, including the creation of the first quartz watch and recent advances in GPS solar technology. Brett Neil, Sales Manager for Oceania at SEIKO Australia, emphasized the importance of the occasion.
“We honor not only our longstanding relationship with Prouds but also the introduction of our new collections, which includes a special collaboration with Australian whiskey producer Lark,” he stated while unveiling the new Seiko and Lark Presage.
Neil urged attendees to discover the latest offerings, which feature the newest Astron and Presage collections, alongside the Seiko 5 Sports line. Rashmi Singh, the general manager of Prouds, recognized the steadfast support that made the event possible.
“Together, we celebrate a journey defined by innovation and quality,” she remarked.
The watch collection is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide, honoring the Japanese philosophy of ‘Ichigo Ichie,’ which translates to ‘for this time only.’
