Tilak High School Ends 18-Year Drought with Epic Football Victory!

Tilak High School in Lautoka recently celebrated a significant victory after their Under-19 football team triumphed in the Fiji Secondary School Football Association (FSSFA) Digicel IDC, marking the school’s first win in 18 years. Vinod Sharan, the Head of School, commended the team’s success, attributing it to exceptional teamwork rather than individual efforts.

Sharan expressed that the victory is a realization of a dream that came about through hard work, dedication, and meticulous planning. He remarked that Tilak High School has once again reclaimed its prestigious position in school sports. The celebration event was held to honor the players who contributed to this impressive achievement.

Apisalome Ravouvou, the captain of the Under-19 team, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported the team on their journey to victory. He acknowledged the commitment of the players, highlighting their determination on the field.

Ravouvou also thanked the coaches and managers for their encouragement and belief in the team, which played a vital role throughout the sporting season.
