TikToker Lui Vuiberata, widely known as XKON, has pleaded guilty to charges under the Online Safety Act. He appeared in court this morning before Judge Justice Daniel Goundar.
Vuiberata faced allegations of making derogatory remarks about the Minister for Information, Lynda Tabuya, on TikTok. His charges include one count of causing harm through electronic communication, one count of criminal intimidation, and one count of indecently insulting or annoying an individual. In addition, he is contending with three further charges for purportedly breaching his bail conditions, including failing to surrender his travel documents, not deactivating his social media accounts, and continuing to post content on the same account despite those conditions.
