Ratu Kadavulevu School triumphed over Marist Brothers High School in a thrilling Vodafone Super Deans U17 final, winning 35-34 at the HFC Bank Stadium this afternoon.
The match was intensely competitive, with both teams exchanging tries throughout the game. RKS’s Tevita Rokosuka was instrumental, scoring two tries among the twelve total tries made by both teams. RKS managed to secure a slight 21-17 lead at halftime, maintaining the suspense into the second half.
Lemeki Ratuvukivuki further extended RKS’s lead with an additional try, but Marist quickly countered with a try from Saverio Tavakai, bringing the score to 28-22 in favor of RKS. Sairusi Rokotuva contributed two more tries for RKS, while Semi Vuakilau’s effort for Marist pushed the final score to 35-34, with RKS narrowly clinching the victory.
