The weekly Stapleford event at the Vatuwaqa golf course yesterday enjoyed lovely weather and saw 90 participants.
Mohammed Buksh, the sponsorship chairman of Fiji Golf Club, expressed his gratitude for the turnout and the favorable conditions.
He mentioned the tough competition from the previous week and hoped for even larger participation in the future.
“I am thrilled to see so many golfers out here enjoying the fantastic weather.
“Last week’s tournament was tough, but it only makes me more excited for the competition to come,” said Buksh.
Buksh emphasized the growth of golf in Fiji and credited the sponsors for their support in making these tournaments possible.
“I am hopeful for an even larger turnout in the future. I look forward to seeing more players join us and have a great time on the course.”
