The 2024 Deans Quarterfinals wrapped up today, with defending champions QVS, Nasinu Secondary, Cuvu College, and Ratu Navula College advancing to the U18 semifinals.
In the U14 category, MGM narrowly defeated QVS 18-15, while Marist dominated Ra High School with a score of 46-0. Lelean Memorial School won against Ratu Navula College 15-10, and RKS triumphed over Suva Grammar School 22-12.
In the U15 division, Gospel High School secured a close victory over RKS, winning 12-7. QVS bested Natabua High School 15-0, Marist Brothers High School edged past Sigatoka Methodist 17-13, and Suva Grammar School had a significant win against Holy Cross College, 36-5.
For the U16 matches, Suva Grammar triumphed over Ba Provincial 34-24. Lelean Memorial defeated Marist by a slim margin of 8-6, while RKS defeated Ba Methodist 30-8, and QVS won against Nasinu Secondary 27-12.
In the U17 category, Marist achieved a remarkable victory against Dawasamu Secondary School, winning 51-5. QVS narrowly defeated Natabua High School 21-19, RKS delivered a strong performance against Nabua Secondary School with a score of 55-19, and Ratu Navula College edged out Nasinu 20-14.
In the U19 section, RKS overwhelmed Lami High School, winning 50-11. QVS triumphed over Nasikawa Vision College 14-7, Ratu Navula College significantly defeated Nasinu 30-7, and Naitasiri Secondary School posted a close win against Navatu Secondary School, 17-13.
