Champions Lautoka fought hard to secure a 3-2 victory over a determined Nadroga side in Round 12 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at Churchill Park today.

The Blues took the lead with a penalty scored by Sairusi Nalubu.

Nadroga quickly equalized with a goal from Ravinesh Reddy, but Lautoka regained the lead through Aporosa Yada.

Saula Waqa extended Lautoka’s advantage with a well-placed header from a cross by Muni Shivam.

Nadroga reduced the deficit with a penalty from national striker Rusiate Matarerega.

Despite several opportunities from both teams, Lautoka held on to claim a narrow win.

Following the victory, Lautoka moves to third place with 19 points, while Nadroga remains seventh with 14 points.
