Eight teams have advanced through the challenging elimination rounds for the Vodafone Cup National Quarterfinals and are now gearing up to compete for a place in the semifinals. Prominent among the competitors are the formidable Dee Cees Nadera Panthers and the consistently competitive Saru Dragons.
This quarterfinals stage also marks a first for the Laselase Cowboys and Topline Warriors, who are making their debut at this level of the tournament.
FNRL Executive Chairman Akuila Masi encourages all fans to attend and support their teams. “This weekend will be an exciting moment in our rugby league history,” Masi stated. “These teams have put in tremendous effort to reach this point, and they deserve all the backing they can receive. It promises to be a day filled with intense competition and excellent rugby action.”
The fixtures for the quarterfinals at Lawaqa Park are as follows:
– 9:00 am: Warwick Vusu Raiders vs. Topline Warriors
– 11:00 am: Dee Cees Nadera Panthers vs. Waitaci Titans
– 1:00 pm: Ravoravo Rabbitohs vs. Laselase Cowboys
– 3:00 pm: Navy Albatross vs. Saru Dragons
The Vodafone Cup National Quarterfinals are set to take place this Saturday, 14th September 2024, at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka, starting at 9:00 am.
