Three Sacrilege Incidents Prompt Police Probe in Navua and Wainadoi

Police are currently investigating three separate cases of alleged sacrilege reported early this morning in the Navua and Wainadoi areas. The first incident took place at the Calia Nauyuwak Ramayan Bhajan Faag Mandali temple on Calia Back Road, where an electric fan was reported stolen.

The second case occurred at the Hare Krishna Temple, also located along Calia Back Road, although further details about this incident have not been disclosed.

In the third incident, the Wainadoi Markas Mosque was found to have been broken into, with funds stolen from the donation box.

Authorities are actively pursuing leads and conducting inquiries related to these incidents in hopes of resolving the cases promptly. The community is being urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
