Thirteen students were treated at Vunidawa Hospital following an accident in Navuniasi, Naitasiri, this morning. According to Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations (ACP) Livai Driu, the incident occurred when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road. Police are currently on the scene to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
This unfortunate event serves as a reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for heightened awareness while driving, particularly in areas frequented by students. Hopefully, with the investigation’s outcome, measures can be taken to prevent future incidents.
