Rewa midfielder Tevita Waranaivalu has been awarded the inaugural Golden Ball in the Digicel Fiji Premier League, recognizing him as the standout footballer of the season. Waranaivalu played a pivotal role in nearly all of Rewa’s 18 matches, contributing to the team’s victory in securing their second title and a spot in the OFC Champions League for 2025. In addition to his club success, he has been a reliable performer for the Digicel Bula Boys this season and is expected to be a crucial player for the Delta Tigers in their upcoming semifinal match against Navua in the 2024 FMF Inter District Championship (IDC). The semifinal match against Navua is scheduled to take place at 4:30 PM, following the first semifinal between Labasa and Nadi at 2 PM.
